Yes, all those techniques are required touch-up appointments in 6 weeks. It's crucial making any corrections on post healing as one side will always head differently to the other, it will also guarantee you better longevity for on your cosmetic-tattooing
How long does it will last?
Cosmetic Brow Tattoos typically lasts from 8 months- 2 years, depending on skin type (normal, oily, dry), age (youthful/mature). Skincare routine will also affect the lasting effect of the pigment: patients who exfoliate excessively uses products such as Retinol, AHA or Glycolic Acid with fade faster as your skin will resurface faster. Each individual's colour retention within the skin will vary. To maintain the brows looking fresh, a touch up is suggested every 12-18 months.
Is it painful?
The pain level for the procedure is considered mild to none. Prior to the procedure, your brow technician will apply a topical anaesthetic to numb the area, and also reapplied
during the procedure. Everyone responds differently to anaesthetic; depending on the client, the feeling of the procedure has been described as light cat scratches to not feeling anything. Topical anaesthetics used may contain lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine and epinephrine.
After the procedure, redness and slight swelling in the area are normal. Clients describe the area feeling similar to a light sunburn.
Choosing the right technique for you often comes down to personal choice, however, some aspects might play an import part on your decisions such as oily skin and previous cosmetic tattooing. Often this 2 things can lead us to perform either shading or combo brows but is not a rule like I always said each case need to be considered individually.
